The Arctic Heat-Lock System™
Arctic Spas® has the ability to reduce heat loss and increase energy efficiency. We use high-density urethane foam to insulate the dead air space in cabinet walls, doors, floors, and the spa rim. To prevent mechanical noise and plumbing and equipment from freezing in sub-zero temperatures, our equipment, heater and pumps of an Arctic Spas® hot tub are positioned inside this insulated area. These traps waste heat in the dead air space and are transferred to heat the spa water directly. This means lower overall heating costs.
